If you drive, you totally understand this point. The one time you actually need to leave the village, you get stuck behind a mechanical mass that's can't be passed, won't turn away, and is actively spraying you with hay. 

It's like they actually want to make your life a living hell. They can probably go about 70mph and they are just having you on, making it into one big hilarious on-going joke.
