3. They Talk In Riddles

Half the time you don't even know what they're talking about and find them too intellectually superior or aloof to hold a conversation with them. And of course you inevitably then just think that whatever riddle they're saying is a sly comment about you and how average your intelligence is. You have nailed the classic 'nod and smile' and then scurry away to your room hoping that they don't have anything else weird to say to you.
