Book: The Goblet Of Fire Throughout the Goblet Of Fire, readers aren't really aware of the part that Voldemort will play. As far as we know someone has put Harry's name into the goblet and the whole book leads up to the moment of Harry reaching the Triwizard Cup which is the Portkey. It isn't until Harry and Cedric reach the graveyard that the whole book series turn into darkness and everything begins to make sense. In this scene there are body mutations, blood sacrifices and Voldemort is reborn with a human form. It is at this moment where Harry realises that he has to grow up quickly in order to be able to defend himself as Voldemort is now walking and talking. But the most powerful moment of the book is Voldemort's complete disregard for human (well wizard) life. Cedric is simply at the wrong place at the wrong time and Voldemort kills him without thinking. Well, he orders Wormtail to kill Cedric but he only complies out of fear for Voldemort. Peter is only loyal to him through fear and fear can be powerful when it is used to control those who do not have the courage to stand up for what is right.
