17 Shocking Celebrity Deaths

14. Brandon Lee

Death: 31 March 1993 Like his father, Bruce Lee, Brandon was an actor and a martial arts master. Unfortunately, his death was ruled as an accident when he was shot on the set of the film The Crow. In the scene that Lee was shot, his character walks into his apartment to see his partner being abused and beaten by thugs. The gun used to kill him wasn't supposed to contain live bullets, but the dummy cartridges. These were exchanged with blank rounds which basically ended up having the same effect as a bullet. Six hours of surgery could not save his life and he is buried next to his father. He left behind a child and fiancée. Brandon Lee was unbelievably talented and the world needs more positive role models, especially those who are experts in the martial arts. Although he didn't condone violence, he was able to show you how to protect yourself in a way that was safe both for you and for the person who was silly enough to attack a martial arts expert.
