2. UFO Cover Up
The title pretty much speaks for itself on why this is completely mad. After all, no list of crazy conspiracy theories would be complete without the term 'UFO' in at least one of the spots. The utterly bizarre theory is that Kennedy was killed by the CIA not because of his alleged apathy towards Castro being out of the way, but rather because he became too curious about the existence of UFOs captured by the United States in a letter written to the CIA ten days before his death. In this letter, Kennedy demanded the declassification of any files on UFOs in the interest of aerospace defenses against the Soviets. He writes...
"When this is sorted out, I would like you to arrange a program of data sharing of NASA where Unknowns are a factor."
Upon receiving this letter, the director of the CIA allegedly wrote a note on the top secret document that said...
"As you must know, Lancer has made some inquiries regarding our activities, which we cannot allow."
The only merit this theory really has is that the document in question was penned ten days before the President's assassination and that the CIA is involved. Beyond that, I mean UFOs, come on! Now, for the crème de la crazy...
