If food was people, then it's almost certain that pizza would be sharing an awesome city centre party-pad with its best friend pasta. The two originate back to the same part of the world, find themselves side by side on the menus of virtually every decent Italian restaurant, and are even such good mates that Pizza Hut couldn't bare to keep them apart.
