20 London Attractions You Need To Visit Before You Die

2. Roundhouse

The Roundhouse begun its life as a steam-engine repair shed in 1846, but has since gone on to become one of London's greatest cultural venues. Located on Chalk Farm Road, the Roundhouse consistently plays host to some of the biggest musical and theatrical acts in the country. The unique venue is, as the name suggests, completely circular. This creates an unusual layout, in which the audience often wraps around the stage, making it feel far more intimate than a venue of its size normally would. The sound quality is generally spot-on, and the lighting setups are frequently spectacular. The Roundhouse has featured performances from musical legends such as Bob Dylan, The Doors, The Beatles and many more. There's a lot of history behind the place, and any live music fan should visit the Roundhouse at least once. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnE-HSV_gvU
