10. The Chicago Suburb Of Forest View Became Known As "Caponeville", Such Was The Mobster's Influence There
Capone had major influence over the entirety of the city of Chicago during the 1920s and early-1930s - but it was the suburb of Forest View where he was mainly stationed. Forest View even became known as "Caponeville", so strong was his presence felt there - although the majority of his brothels, speakeasies and gambling houses were actually based in the Cicero district.
