2. The Limousine In Which Kennedy Was Killed Was Cleaned And Then Used By Presidents Through Until 1977
Ever wondered what happened to the 1961 Lincoln Continental four-door convertible limousine - codenamed the X-100 - in which JFK was travelling in Dallas in 1961 when he was shot? Well, after being impounded and examined for evidence, it was fully repaired, cleaned and then was back in White House service just six months after JFK's death. Incredibly, four Presidents - LBJ, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter - rode in the limousine before it was removed from active service in 1977. The limo is now on display at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.
