Like trying to see the wood for the trees, Geordies are so used to Newcastle that often they forget just how brilliant and beautiful it is. But bring anyone from somewhere else in the country to the banks of the River Tyne for a few days and their mouths drop, their eyes widen, and their hearts make plans to stay there forever.
