The German Market is one of the highlights of the calendar for many locals. Not only are the gardens transformed into a Winter Wonderland, it's socially acceptable to drink endless amount of mulled wine because it's Scotland and it's cold, right? The market, alongside the new addition in St. Andrew's Square is when you can start to get that Christmassy feeling and if not, you watch some cracking ice skating fails instead.
