22 Amazing Fictional Swear Words Everyone Should Use In Real Life

9. Lump (Adventure Time)

One of Lumpy Space Princesses most-used words, it's treated as a substitute for the f-bomb and her speech is all the better for it, from her "No lumpin' way!" to "I said, lump off, mom!" As fun as it is to replace such a harsh word with one so harmless and dopey, it is somewhat concerning that LSP's parents gave her a name that she could then use to swear at them. Like naming your kid Screw Ewan.

8. Frag (Babylon 5)

Yet another f-word replacement, but not quite as popular in the same way frak and frell are, the curse comes from 'frag grenade' and as such has fewer sexual and more violent connotations than those words. Frag has more recently been appropriated by first-person shooter games culture, referring mainly to kills racked up by players in-game. 'Fragging hell' might not have the same ring to it as frakking, but getting fragged can be a real kick to the yarbles.

7. Bitca (Buffy)

Another Whedonism, though this time somewhat more conceptual than Firefly's bad language, bitca is a mispronouncement of the word 'bitch' by Xander Harris after he mishears Willow spelling it out. This turned the harsh insult into a nonsense word that could stand as a relatively harmless synonym for it.
