11. Russell Brand Does A Very Naughty Thing
Comedian and activist Russell Brand thought he would have the world on his side when he tweeted a Daily Mail reporter’s business card with all personal details fully in view.
As part of his self-titled 'revolution', he urged his 8 million followers to speak to the reporter directly about tax issues plaguing the British newspaper.
Nobody was happy with Brand's stunt that was deemed as 'harassment' by many and which could have led to a twitter ban for Brand for breaching their policies.
Perhaps author Sathnam Sanghera summed it up best with his tweet; 'Hats off to Russell Brand for managing the seemingly impossible: making Twitter sympathise with a Daily Mail reporter.'
