7. Attempting To Drive Anywhere Near Saltwell Park On Bonfire Night
Since Saltwell Park is the centre of the known universe for Gateshead residents, it's inevitable that it would be the favourite haunt for everyone to spend Bonfire Night trying to see a bonfire 2 miles away over the crowds. Sadly for anyone living within a 5 miles radius, or who has to actually use Durham Road (which can be up to 8 million people at once judging by the traffic between 4.30pm and 6pm every night), actually driving anywhere is made impossible every year by the people who insist on driving to the park. Despite the fact that there is literally NEVER any parking ever.
