11. Destiny
Why Get Excited? Halo Developer, Bungie, has teamed up with Activision to create what looks to be the closest thing to a first person shooter/ massively multiplayer online game hybrid that gamers have ever seen. That in itself is pretty staggering, but what marks Destiny out as something quite special is its open world gameplay set in the post apocalypse, seven hundred years in the future and confirmation that Destiny will offer all the Mass Effect esque character creation that is so innate at plugging us into games of this ilk, as well as an evolving matchmaking system that allows players to pal up (or square off) with others as they hop around the games many distant realms.
