10. The Foo Fighters - 'Sonic Highways'
Why Get Excited? For their follow up to 2011s Wasting Light, Dave Grohl has taken the Foo Fighters on one big road trip, recording their eight-track album across the same number of states. Not content with creating their most varied album to date, the band also took HBO along for the ride and youve probably guessed it an eight-part documentary was filmed. With their previous album standing out as one of the bands strongest, and last years Sound City marking Grohl out as a talented helmer with an eye for a dusty tale, were at a quandary whether to be more excited about the album or the TV show. Bring on both. Whens It Out?
