Why Get Excited? The Libertines concluded a strong summer comeback this year with the promise of returning to the Ally Pally for what promises to be their biggest run of shows in years. So much could be written about the pills, thrills and bellyaches that Carl, Pete and the band have endured, but as the prospect of this three night residency at the prestigious London venue becomes a reality, all eyes are on one of the best British bands in years to pull it out of the bag and show us some new material.
