25 Best Apple Store Apps For 2016

23. Babylon

Sticking with the health theme, Babylon is a bit like having your own personal doctor or therapist on tap. It allows you to get medical advice quickly. Health advice is available from leading UK doctors, therapists and medical specialists right in the palm of your hand. It's a bit like embarrassing bodies without having the whole of the British public watching you. The app features a whole host of great features. It will actually allow you to video or phone consultations with qualified doctors within minutes or have specialist and therapist appointments when it suits you. If talking face-to-face is too much you can also text your health-related questions to a doctor for free. On top of all of this you can monitor your health by tracking daily activities and key body functions and its ready to integrate with existing Health Apps and Wearables, including Health Kit. The best thing is, its fully registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The downside to the app is that this app obviously has nothing to do with the NHS so you'll have to fork out some cash if you want to make use of the applications. You can text, monitor your health and integrate it with your other apps for free. But, If you want to talk to a doctor face to face, you'll need to upgrade. That rings in at £4.99 a month or you can pass-as-you-go which isn't too bad. sadly, If you want a therapist though that will set you back £49 per hourly consultation.
