SDCC is a gift to comic book fans the world over, regardless of whether you can make it there in person. Along with the usual shock announcements (Batman v Superman was originally revealed there), actors get to hang loose and chat with fans, and trailers usually drop for the most anticipated new movies (which inevitably leak online in potato quality). From Marvel, expect there to be tons of hype for Doctor Strange, probably a teaser for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and maybe even one for the standalone Spider-Man film. As for DC? They'll be on the hard sell too, possibly unveiling the first Wonder Woman teaser, and hyping up the Justice League, probably with an appearance from the collective group.
