3. Ford Rescues A Missing Mountain Climber In Wyoming

A year earlier, in 2000 - the same year that Ford was blown off a runway by a strong wind shear - the Hollywood legend came to the aid of one Sarah George, who had been attempting to climb Table Mountain in Teton County, Wyoming. Stricken by altitude sickness and dehydration, George, who was with a friend, needed to be airlifted off the mountain. After another hiker radioed for help, Ford jumped into action and flew to the site.
