5 Board Game Characters That Need Backstories

2. Sheriff - King Of New York

You could pick any of the Godzilla-esque monsters from King of Tokyo or New York. All would make for a great protagonist of a Michael Bay directed prequel.

On balance though, Sheriff wins out because his design simply raises the most questions. A big robotic gorilla? Fine, mad Professor Longfellow had too much time on his hands. An alien mantis? Sure, it's not out of the realms of possibility. But a giant cowboy T-Rex? Clearly someone has genetically resurrected T-Rex DNA, but after their creation stumbled to it's feet, thought "That thing isn't dangerous enough, let's make it giant and custom build it some pistols...and also dress it in a cowboy hat".

You have to assume someone else made Sheriff the hat because of his tiny arms. Stitching would be a nightmare.
