1. Ricky Gervais
A man considered to be the ultimate marmite on Twitter - you either really love him or you really hate him. Many will know and love his work, but for some reason he's chosen to take on a different alter-ego when tweeting which is just insufferable. If Ricky isn't bashing religion, most notably Christianity, he's shamelessly courting praise for his latest sitcom, in which he retweets complimentary messages and blocks people who criticise him. If that doesn't annoy you, he's another who has taken to bad jokes and faux-philosophy which is then discredited by him swearing and offending the masses by talking about a controversial subject. He now likes to bore everyone online by re-iterating how he doesn't care whether or not people like him. Which in itself is a message wrapped in irony as he feels the need to tell that to his followers on multiple occasions despite 'not caring'. "You don't get it. His arrogance is an act." Hmm. Is it? Because he seems to be getting worse by the day. If he's not extorting money from people through his endless promotion via social networks, he's telling everyone of the praise he's getting for his works. It's very easy to fall out of love with the Twitter Ricky Gervais of late.
