If you've never been to Walt Disney World you might have a few ideas of what you're going to experience when you walk through those magical gates

Perhaps you are picturing a park filled with kiddie rides or perhaps drowning in a sea of burgers and fries? You might have even pictured yourself roaming around a certain boy wizard's school?

Unfortunately not everything that you thought you knew about Walt Disney World is true. There's no need to worry, we're here to help bust some of those myths that you might have had about the most magical place on Earth.

Here are 5 misconceptions that many people who have never been to Walt Disney World have...

5. Harry Potter Is At Disney World

One of the biggest mix-ups that those who have never made it to the house of mouse make is that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is over at Walt Disney World.

In fact both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley are over at Universal Orlando Resort. Perhaps guests who don't do their research just assume that it's at Disney World, or they get Hollywood Studios and Universal Studios Florida mixed up.

So if you want to journey into Gringotts Bank vault or take a tour of Hogwarts then you're going to head down the road to Universal Orlando Resort.
