Halloween is well and truly over, the nights are drawing in and mince pies are available in the supermarkets. This can mean only one thing, the festive season is right around the corner.

For many it's a chance to stay indoors wrapped in blankets around a fire watching re-runs of their favourite tv specials, but for others it's a chance to take a much desired family vacation.

If you and your loved ones are taking a trip to the ultimate family vacation destination of Orlando there is a whole load of holiday inspired events taking place. From the extra ticketed Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party to Christmas Bricktacular at Legoland.

One place that is pulling out all the stops this year is Universal. Between Dec 3 and Jan 1 they are planning to put on a display that even the Grinch can't resist going to.
