5 Reasons To Visit Universal Orlando Resort On A Last Minute Vacation
1. Just Have A Good Time, No Compromise Required
As much as I love Walt Disney World, the thought of booking a last minute vacation there fills me with dread. If you don't plan your vacation at the very least a few months in advance, you miss out on so many things. Booking an onsite hotel less than 60 days out, kiss goodbye to a Flights of Passage Fast Pass. Deciding on a date less than 6 months out, say farewell to eating in Ohana. Being lucky enough to visit regularly it matters less to me that I don't see everything every time, but for others this may not be the case.
Having a last minute trip to Universal Orlando Resort meant we weren't disadvantaged, we didn't miss a thing. Despite it being my friend's first trip to the resort, she didn't get any less of an experience for booking with just a week's notice than if it was 180 days out. We ate everywhere we wanted to, did all the rides and experienced Halloween Horror Nights. We even made it through 9 of the 10 houses and both shows without Express. We did have time to do the 10th house but jet-lag and fatigue meant a walk to the back of the park to complete House of 1000 Corpses felt like an overwhelming challenge at midnight.
A last minute trip to Universal doesn't mean you compromise the quality of your vacation. You are going to have the best time no matter how much notice you have.
So if you're tempted to secure a last minute seat on a flight to Universal Orlando, don't hesitate, I can pretty much guarentee you'll have the best time.
