Best 60s Musical - "Hair"
No other musical defined its decade better than "Hair," despite the fact that it lost the Best Musical Tony that year to "1776," but which show is remembered more? Features such classic tracks as "Good Morning Starshine," the title tune, and "The Age of Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In," which was even covered by the cast of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" during the movie's climatic musical number. Pop legends The Cowsills covered "Hair," and the other songs were also on regular rotation on the radio, a rarity for Broadway shows. And, of course, let's not forget about that infamous nude scene!
