The general idea behind online dating is that you talk, you click and then you meet to see how it goes. Thats right, in person. As such, youd think people would stop lying about their height and their weight in their profiles - you know, lies that are given away the moment you're face to face with someone. Its really hard to give off the consistent impression of being taller, shorter, skinnier or bigger than you actually are without resorting to bizarre fashion choices and extreme body modification. Most of people find someone whod lie and/or assume they're not switched on enough to spot the lie in person far less attractive than they'd find someone whos too tall, too short, too fat, too skinny.
