7 Mind-Blowing Things We Learned From Joe Rogan's Charles Manson Podcast With Tom O'Neill

5. The Truth About The Tate Murders

The most famous death involving the Manson family involved actress and Roman Polanski's pregnant wife, Sharon Tate. The 26-year old Valley of the Dolls star was brutally stabbed 16 times by her killers and it is still one of the most brutal murders to ever happen in Hollywood.

Although it seemed like the case was closed following Vincent Bugliosi's successful prosecution of Manson and the rest of the cult members, O'Neill saw some extremely big holes in the story that raised questions on whether or not the famous attorney was withholding information regarding what actually happened..

O'Neill tells Rogan about his experiences interviewing the attorney and how he managed to get information out of him that changes parts about what happened the night of the Tate-LaBianca murders. However, while the change in the story is a disturbing one, it's not the most fascinating aspect of O'Neill's theory.

The really interesting part is the idea that if whoever was in charge was willing to change one minute detail that really made no difference to the end result, what else were they willing to do?
