Everything you could possibly want is at your finger tips when you stay at Portofino Bay.

Apart from the pools and dining you could alway have a game of Bocce or go for a run along the jogging trails. The grounds at the hotel are vast and make for a pretty relaxing run. If you prefer to do your running in air-conditioned goodness there is a fitness centre at the Mandara Spa.

The Harbour is an attraction in itself. Here you can sit in the Thirsty Fish Bar and partake in some cocktails. With the music of the Harbour playing in the background the bar the atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. If you prefer your drinks more caffeinated there is a Starbucks too. Every evening around sunset guests by the harbour are serenaded by the Muscia della Notte, an operatic performance from the balcony above.

As well as the obligatory Universal Store, the hotel also has a few other cute boutique shops including an art gallery. You can easily while away a few hours exploring them.

The hotel has conference centre facilities which means the rooms aren't just catered for tourists. During our stay we found that there were plenty of outlets for both plugs and USBs. Most hotels usually lack these all important modern requirements so it was great to be able to sit at a desk to use a laptop. The free wifi was fast too so if you are one of those people who can't leave work behind on your adult vacation you can still do this fine.
