Portofino Bay is a little bit of pure relaxation in the heart of one of Orlando's most busy and vibrant theme parks.

When staying here you really are just a short walk or boat ride away from CityWalk where there are plenty of places to eat, drink and be merry. So after you have filled yourself up on pizza from Red Oven, you can walk it off with a nice stroll along the water back to the hotel, or make use of the rickshaws if you are too full to walk.

Any guest staying at this hotel is granted early entry into the Wizarding Word of Harry Potter and Unlimited Express Pass (you do still need to purchase park admission). When we stayed here we took advantage of this and walked straight on the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Only a short time after the general public were admitted this ride had a 40 minute queue!

You can also make use of some of the facilities at the other hotels at Universal Orlando Resort. Hard Rock hotel is a 10 minute walk away and you can always use the Hotel Dining Shuttle which transports onsite guests to the other hotels, so if you want to dine at the newly opened Sapphire Falls hotel, it's only a short bus ride away.
