6. The iPhone 6S Has A Better Camera - Front And Back
Apple is an expert at making hardware that exceeds its technical specifications. iPhone cameras are the ultimate case in point, with last year's iPhone 6 snapper being one of the best on the market despite only packing 8 MP, easily competing with Android flagship cameras featuring 16 MP or more. The iPhone 6s camera takes a bump up to 12 MP, which may not sound huge, but we should know that megapixel count isn't everything. It'll be Apple's first camera capable of shooting 4K video, and looks set to continue with the excellent colour reproduction of its predecessors. The front camera, meanwhile, jumps up from 1.2 MP on the iPhone 6 to 5 MP on the 6s. One particularly nifty feature here is the 'Retina flash', which turns the screen white when you take a photo, brightening the image three-fold - an awesomely lifehacky little workaround to the lack of a front-facing LED flash. One criticism I have of the iPhone 6s camera is that it doesn't have OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), which reduces blurriness in images and is a commonplace feature among most flagship phones.
