It might take an eagle eyed fan a while to notice but both Disneyland Paris' Phantom Manor and Disneyland's Haunted Mansion's layout are almost identical.

Though the scenes themselves may look different, the actual track layout is practically the same. The only difference between the two rides is that Phantom Manor is slightly longer.

The extra length of Phantom Manor is mainly used in Phantom Canyon (where the Graveyard scene is within Haunted Mansion) and allows room for you to travel around and see all the sights of the Ghost Town.
