Having your house broken into and your belongings stolen would be a traumatic experience for anyone. After all, it's nearly impossible that the victim is ever going to get their items back. However, there was a burglary in the Sunshine State that showed that sometimes, karma can be a real b**ch.

In November 2011, petty thief, Nathaniel Coleman, robbed a home in Immokalee,Florida, for all the jewellery inside, taking thousands of dollars worth of the items and leaving the home ransacked. While the robbery was a success, his luck ran out soon afterwards.

In an attempt to get rid of the stolen gear, Coleman tried to sell it to a pawn shop. However, what he didn't realise was that he was selling it to the owner of the home he robbed. As he showed the jewellery to the manager, she began to realise that she was, in fact, looking at her own gems.

Eventually, she was able to call her husband, who contacted the police , who then apprehended Coleman at the store. Coleman was charged with defrauding a pawn broker, dealing in stolen items and grand theft of items between $5,000 and $10,000. He also became the unluckiest thief in history in the process.
