8 Embarrassing Mistakes You Won't Believe People On Dating Sites Make
3. Copy-And-Pasted Messages
This particular mistake is one made because people are incredibly lazy on dating sites: if you want to speak with somebody, you're obviously going to have to send an opening message in the hope they will reply, but these people send the same to every person and try to get away with it. Scandalous! Now, while I'm still waiting for my first positive reply from a female after 300 attempts, at least I'm making the effort to send thoughtful messages. Some people are sending obvious copy-and-pasted ones that are too generic and don't feature anything personal about the profile of the man or woman messaged. It's certainly the biggest giveaway when the message in question says something like. 'Hi. I liked the look of your profile and wanted to talk sometime. Let me know x' as those messages are almost certainly duplicated to many others. Despite it being pretty obvious to everybody who has been on a site for a period of minutes, still these messages get banded around and people wonder why they aren't receiving a reply. Such has been the multitude of rejection I've deservedly received from women, I'd be furious to find out people are getting easy replies by sending copy and pasted messages.
