8 Embarrassing Mistakes You Won't Believe People On Dating Sites Make
2. The Deceit-Filled Profiles
Everyone will have surely seen profiles on dating sites that are littered with lies. What's even stranger is why they opt to lie as eventually the person will have to find out the truth if they meet up. Some lies you can perhaps get away with, such as height within an inch or two. But I've seen people try to fool others about their body size by showing a picture of just their face with the body hidden from camera as if you won't find out in the long run. People even make up what they do for a career to lure the unsuspecting in. They lie about how much they earn, what they do for work, and often lie about their name or if they're in a relationship just so they can have the chance to potentially meet somebody. Now if you think that was bad, I've even seen people using a completely different profile picture to how they really look. That's certainly going to be the first thing a person would notice if they ever met up with someone else, but clearly they haven't thought it through. Another example is with age. Despite there being a host of people to talk to, some choose to lie about their age and pretend to be younger or older to fool people they're talking to. However, many of their pictures can give it away with how old they really are. Wouldn't it be better to find somebody you doesn't mind what your real age is? Why people need to lie is beyond me, as the truth will have to come out eventually.
