8 Embarrassing Mistakes You Won't Believe People On Dating Sites Make

1. The Time-Wasters

This breed of online daters like to give you every impression they're remotely interested in you, but they have no intention of taking things further, and instead just want to engage in boring small talk until the other person gives up replying. The time-wasters are happy to go day after day of generic chat about what your plans for the day are, while having no interest in delving deeper (giggity goo). It's obviously very annoying to get a reply from somebody you're keen on - although I'm still waiting for my first - and have them get your hopes up by speaking for days on end, only for everything to go stale and eventually the chat stops. While these people aren't committing the worst dating site faux-pas in the world, their reluctance to tell the truth about their intentions is a real pain if you've been making an effort for a number of days. It's the equivalent of meeting up with somebody for a few days, only for them to eventually snub you when the option is there to take it to another level - and then them asking if you want to be friends instead. What a kick in the face that would be, and online the time-wasters are just as annoying as the majority of people are seeking a relationship on these sites, so if that person is not looking for that with you or somebody else, it's surely only right to make that clear early on?
