6. Kanye West Thinks AIDS Is Man Made And Curable

Kanye West is known for his, shall we say, unique world view, but he took this a whole Olympic long-jump further on the 2005 Live 8 tour to raise awareness for AIDS, when he announced that AIDS was created by man and placed in Africa "just like crack was placed in the black community to break up the Black Panthers."

Whilst there are a lot of things we've yet to figure out about HIV/AIDS, namely how to stop it killing people, we have managed to trace its origin to the Simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV), a closely related retrovirus that mutated and was transferred humans.

Kanye also reckons that there is in fact a cure for HIV/AIDS, but it is only available to the wealthy and important (Illuminati confirmed?). He provides his evidence in the form of Magic Johnson, who was diagnosed with HIV in the early 90s and who Kanye claims was "cured".

Just to be clear, Magic Johnson still has HIV, but controls it with a cocktail of drugs. To be fair to Kanye, the drugs are pretty pricey, but they are by no means purposely reserved for the Illuminati or whatever, it just costs a lot of money to produce life-saving medicines.
