8 Scientific Reasons Why Teenagers Are Completely Insane

No, you're not just getting old, teenagers are actually nuts. It's science.

Kids these day, eh? They're just awful. They dress stupid, their music is terrible, they're lazy, spoilt and, if you're honest with yourself, some of them probably frighten you a little bit. Why can't they be like us when we were their age? Now that was the golden age. If you agree with all of that then, congratulations, you're just the latest in a long line of people that don't understand teenagers. Your parents did it, their parents did it and one day the current crop if teenagers will do it too. Probably due to the fact that most adolescents seem to be borderline psychopaths, a fair amount of scientific study has gone into decoding their baffling behaviour and it turns out that it's just that their brains are just completely different to yours. In the same way that you wouldn't expect a 5-year-old to understand income tax, you shouldn't expect a teenager to understand the subtleties of behaving like an adult because, as much as they might look like them, teenagers aren't adults and their brains aren't finished yet, the poor dears. So what exactly is it about teenagers that make them wear stupid clothes, slam doors and paper their rooms with pictures of grotty bands? Science has the answer.
