4. Sam Harris And Hannibal Buress Discuss Police Brutality
Okay so this didn't officially take place on an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, but because the show it appeared on was recorded at the JRE studios, and Rogan appeared, I think it's more than worthy of inclusion on this list.
Joe had just completed a multi-hour podcast with fellow comedian Hannibal Buress where the pair discussed a variety of subjects, all while enjoying a few drinks. Then, after the JRE had gone off the air, renowned intellectual Sam Harris was in the studio to feature on an episode of Josh Szeps's podcast, when the now-drunk pair joined in and Buress took exception to some of Harris' comments surrounding racial profiling and police brutality in America.
Harris' strictly objective assessment of the facts is interpreted by Burress as cold and even heartless, as the conversation spirals out of control into a full-blown argument, with a clearly intoxicated Buress getting ever-more frustrated at Harris for close to an hour.
