8 Times Things Got Seriously Awkward On The Joe Rogan Experience

5. Brian Redban And Bill Burr Argue About Stitcher

Oh, Brian...

Though newer fans of the JRE may not know of a time before the omniscient Young Jamie was behind the desk pulling stuff up, before he occupied the position of producer there was his predecessor, comedian Brian Redban, who brought an element of unadulterated chaos to the show.

Redban's often inappropriate interjections regularly drew the ire of Rogan, but in episode 91 of the JRE, Redban managed to rile up American comic Bill Burr with his comments about the podcast aggregation service Stitcher.

The debate begins just as the podcast looked set to end when Burr explains that he had to tell Sticher to remove his show from their programming after they used it without his permission. Redban argues that he staunchly supports the service and how intuitive it is, seemingly unaware that that has nothing to do with what the guest is saying.

Worse still, Brian refuses to listen to what Burr has to say, leading to an exchange that goes on for more than half an hour and is hilariously awkward by the end of the episode.
