It was all the way back in May of last year that Universal announced that it would be collaborating with Nintendo. There are still no further details as what this partnership means for Universal Orlando Resort but that has done little to calm the excitement, if anything, it's heightened it. All that has been revealed from Universal and Nintendo is that "The immersive experiences will include major attractions at Universals theme parks and will feature Nintendos most famous characters and games." With Japanese news outlet Sankei reporting that a Nintendo land will soon be heading to Universal Studios Japan, could it be very long until Universal reveal their plans for its partnership with this gaming giant? Here's hoping... the addition of Mario and Luigi to a new home in Universal Orlando Resort might just give the theme park the edge over its Disney rival!
