Anyone who’s watched The Daily Show since Trevor Noah took over hosting duties, has likely witnessed the firecracker wit of Michelle Wolf. A former employee of mega banks, Bear Stearns and JPMorgan Chase, her transition to comedy appeared seamless, even though that probably wasn’t the case in the slightest.
Her deadpan humor negates the typical stigma associated with opinionated talk about politics, sexism and scrotums. And the fact that she laughs at some of her own jokes makes her style relatable and not distracting like it would coming from a comedian with less confidence.
