4. Animal Kingdom's Merry Menagerie
Even Disney's Animal Kingdom will be getting into the festive spirit.
A Merry Menagerie of animal puppets can be seen wandering around the park. The puppets themselves are wonderfully sculptured and have their own personalities. Given the celebration of the cold season, the menagerie are based on arctic animals including a polar bear, fox and of course penguins.
There are decorations all around and at the heart of the park the Tree of Life will also be lit up with a holiday glow. The evening's Tree of Life Awakenings will be getting a holiday edition. As darkness falls, projections, light and music will bring life to Animal Kingdom's Discovery Island.
As with all of Walt Disney World's other parks, Santa will also be hanging around Animal Kingdom. He will be stepping aboard one of the character flotillas, greeting guests as he passes along the DiscoveryRiver. The park will also have a Discovery Island Drummers Festive Flotilla where the play holiday themed percussion music as they go.
