Blizzard Beach is set to reopen on 13th November following a long refurbishment time. When it throws open its doors, Christmas will be in full swing.

Santa Claus will be making an appearance and you can get your photo taken with him with a suitably "tropical flair". It also seems that St. Nick will be bringing the snow with him too in some areas of Blizzard Beach.

Peppermint milkshakes and Orange Bird Santa Cones will be just some of the holiday themed food and drink items that will be added to the water park's menus to bring a bit of yuletide cheer. Keep an eye out for Christmas themed inner-tubes as you ride some of the parks slides.

Blizzard Beach is also getting a permanent Frozen area of the park. Guests have been able to meet Olaf in the park for a while, but the kids section of Blizzard beach will be getting a makeover fit for an Ice Queen. Olaf and his Snowgie friends are there, along with a Elsa and Anna's Igloo Castle.
