9 Things You Need To Know About Walt Disney World's Holiday Celebrations

2. Festive Fun At The Resorts

Every Walt Disney World hotel will be getting into the holiday spirit.

Huge Christmas trees will be placed at all the hotels and visiting each one makes for a perfect way to spend some of your down time when you aren't in the parks.

One of the highlights for many guests visiting the Grand Floridian and Spa hotel is the Gingerbread House. Each year a huge cottage made from gingerbread is erected in the lobby of the hotel and you can purchase shingle sized pieces of the gingerbread to take home.

You can also see other wonderful gingerbread displays at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club as well as Disney's Boardwalk Resort.

Guests visiting Walt Disney World at Christmas don't need to be staying at the resort to visit the hotels so it's a wonderful way to get into the festive cheer and to spot all the hidden Mickeys that are placed among the decorations.
