The universe is huge, but what's outside of it? According to some theoretical physicists, it's just more universes. Just universes all the way down. These are parallel universes, but what would happen if they stopped being so parallel and started being a bit more hey-friend-I'm-crashing-into-you? Because if we're right in our assumptions that there are infinite universes, infinite realities with infinite possibilities, then probability dictates that there must be some that crash into each other. There are some that suggest that this might have already happened. These alternate universe might have completely different physical laws to our own that would wreak havoc and tear our universe apart as ours did the same to their, giving us a nice two-for-one deal in our quest to destroy the universe(s). According to Anthony Aguirre, it would be so fast, close to the speed of light, that we wouldn't even see it coming. If we could slow it down, it would apparently look like an enormous mirror rushing out of the sky because the wall of the universe would reflect light. After that we wouldnt see anythingbecause wed all be dead., says Aguirre, a little too gleefully.
