Every Stephen King Novel Ranked Worst To Best

35. Cujo

Stephen King in It: Chapter Two
Taft Entertainment Company

Fans of the movie may be surprised to see Cujo so far down on the list, but despite the novel's seriously horrifying story of a dog driven mad with rabies, it suffers from one too many side-plots. The momentum of the tale is all off, and King has gone on record to admit he barely remembers writing any of it due to his days lost in addiction.

Still, forgetting the slow pace and abundance of supporting characters, Cujo is easily one of the author's most iconic and uncomfortable novels to date.
