Stephen King in It: Chapter Two
Scribner

Stephen King's most recent novel, The Institute sees the author returning to the old staple of kids versus evil that often drove his earlier work forward. The titular institute is home to numerous children, all imprisoned, and all with powers such as telekinesis and telepathy. There, the kids have their powers harvested by their captors.

It's a thrilling if deeply unsettling novel, but allows King to return to his roots and give us a story about young people triumphing over the evil that threatens to break them. It's a shoo-in for a successful King thriller.
