Poltergeist was going to be a hard maze to follow, but I think Scary Tales: Deadly Ever After did a pretty good job.

This was the first original house I'd ever experienced and it set the bar high for these houses for the rest of the night. The amount of props and detail in this maze was superb. I knew this was going to be a monumental maze by a flying Wicked Witch as I entered.

Being an original maze I wasn't sure just where about's in the maze the scares were going to come from as I walked through. The twisted characters from fairy tales were really horrifying. The three little pigs were particularly unpleasant and a rather grotesque Hansel made me jump.

This maze hit all your senses. It was loud, dark and the smells that come from the Hansel & Gretel and the Humpty Dumpty scenes were overpowering.

When I visited the event again, I made this my last house of the night. There was so much detail, I just had to see it again.
