Harry Potter And The Cursed Child: 7 Most Compelling Theories

3. It Will Focus On An Entirely New Character (Perhaps In Harry's Auror Days)

Despite the fact that he doesn't actually graduate from Hogwarts and gain the required entry level grades, Harry becomes head Auror under the clearly sycophantic rule of new Minister Of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt. That career path in itself should have lead to a series of Potter Grown Up books reimagining him as a sort of magical Indiana Jones/Ghostbuster hybrid. It might still. Given Daniel Radcliffe's performance in The Woman In Black, the idea of him returning as Harry Potter - however unlikely - and investigating a creepy case of a cursed child would have made for some great theatre. Theory Rating: 5/10 It's very possible that the titular child will be an entirely new character, but the Auror Potter element - sure to delight fan fiction writers online - is far less probable, unfortunately. Someone should definitely convince Rowling to pass the rights on to someone to expand the universe though.
